For over two decades, my life revolved around the fast-paced world of global trade and international logistics. Navigating global supply chains taught me how to analyze raw materials, vet ingredient purity, and demand absolute quality from international suppliers. But while my professional career was built on global efficiency, my personal skin journey was a long road of trial and error.

As an Asian woman turning 50, I've experienced every skincare era, from the heavy creams of my 20s to the hyped, multi-step routines that promised overnight miracles. Living in sunny California for most of my life, my skin adapted to coastal moisture. But moving to the high-desert climate of Utah ten years ago changed everything. The dry air, harsh winters, and shifting seasons left my skin constantly dehydrated, sensitive, and stripped of its natural balance.

Like many women, I bought into the hype. I tried virtually every high-end system and trending product on the market, only to find my counter cluttered with complicated, synthetic formulas that over-promised and under-delivered.

Between managing a demanding executive career and cheering from the cold bleachers as a busy hockey mom to two teenagers, an 18-year-old starting college and a 14-year-old entering high school, I didn't have time for a 10-step routine that didn't work.
